OPEN FRAME
في يوليو 2024، نظّمت أورتا أوكول سلسلة من الفعاليات مع الأطفال اللاجئين غير المصحوبين بذويهم، الذين لا يتلقون التعليم حاليًا ومعظمهم لا يتحدثون الألمانية. كانت الفعالية الرئيسية عبارة عن ورشة عمل لسرد القصص المرئية من أربع جلسات بعنوان ”الإطار المفتوح“.
أقام المصور الفلسطيني والناشط الحقوقي محمد بدارنة ورشة عمل ”الإطار المفتوح“ مع الأطفال اللاجئين غير المصحوبين بذويهم في مركز ”يكمل“. ركزت الورشة التي تألفت من أربع جلسات باللغة العربية على استخدام الكاميرا كأداة لرواية القصص مع ثمانية صبية تتراوح أعمارهم بين 9 و14 عاماً. ونظراً لعدم معرفة المشاركين باللغة الألمانية، هدفت ورشة العمل إلى مساعدتهم على التواصل الاجتماعي واستخدام اللغة البصرية كأداة للتواصل. عُقدت الورشة في جمعية يكمل، تيمبلهوفر فيلد، حديقة تريبتاور بارك و محطات S-Bahn/U-Bahn مختلفة.
بعد التدريب التقني الأساسي على التصوير الفوتوغرافي والمناقشات حول كيفية تغيير التصوير الفوتوغرافي لتصوراتنا وتأثيره على حياتنا، استكشف المشاركون تصوير البورتريه، التصوير الفوتوغرافي بالحركة و استخدام العاكسات والأضواء الاصطناعية. ثم أنشأ الأولاد وبدارن استوديو يسمى استوديو الواقع، حيث قاموا بتصوير أنفسهم وبعضهم البعض. سنواصل جهودنا لتنظيم أنشطة تصوير مختلفة تحت عنوان استوديو الواقع في المستقبل.
In July 2024, Orta Okul organized a series of events with unaccompanied refugee children who are currently outside the education system and most of whom do not speak German. The main event was a four-session visual storytelling seminar titled Open Frame.
Open Frame was led by Palestinian photographer and human rights activist Mohamed Badarne, working with unaccompanied refugee children at Yekmal e.V. The seminar, conducted in Arabic, focused on using the camera as a storytelling tool with eight boys aged between 9 and 14. Since the participants did not speak German, the workshop aimed to help them socialize and use visual language as a means of communication. The sessions took place at Yekmal Association, Tempelhofer Feld, Treptower Park, and various S-Bahn/U-Bahn stations.
After basic technical training in photography and discussions on how photography can change perceptions and impact lives, the participants explored portrait photography, motion photography, and the use of reflectors and artificial lighting. The boys, together with Badarne, then set up a studio called Studio Reality, where they photographed each other and themselves. We plan to continue organizing different photographic activities under the Studio Reality in the future.
